An Illinois native, Scott Forbes has played several roles in the 43rd LD since moving into the district in 2007.  In 2008 he served as a precinct committee officer, an area caucus coordinator, and a delegate to the state Democratic convention; in 2009 he was elected Secretary of the 43rd, and in 2010 became our Vice-Chair for PCO Recruitment.

Scott moved to Seattle after spending a year in Los Angeles, where he worked to defeat Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s anti-union ballot initiatives, and before that he lived in Sydney, Australia, where he was the local leader of Howard Dean’s 2004 campaign and the National Vice-Chair of Democrats Abroad Australia.

Scott is a small business owner, having co-founded a software development company, and lives in Montlake with his wife Therese and their dog Lady.
