Hi, I’m Scott. I live in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood, and (when not running for office) I work as a patent attorney. My wife and I have an eleven-year-old dog, a two-year-old son, and a five-month-old daughter, which keeps us busy. I grew up in a small town at the southern tip of Illinois, and moved around quite a bit before settling in Seattle over a decade ago. I’ve been active in local politics for years, including a term or two as Chair of my local Democratic Party organization, and may have strong opinions about various subjects.
I used to blog a lot more often, but lately not so much. (I took a cue from Mike Industries and deleted most of my old blog posts as I rebooted the blog—my passing thoughts about a movie trailer from 2009 weren’t worth reading in 2016 and were long overdue for a spring cleaning.) You can follow me on Twitter, but I’ve never been an especially active tweeter: Facebook is a better bet.
